All season Longan
All Season Longan (Dimocarpus longan) is a tropical fruit tree valued for its sweet, juicy fruits and its ability to flower and fruit multiple times a year under favorable conditions. It grows into a medium-sized evergreen tree with dense, glossy green foliage and produces clusters of round, light-brown fruits with translucent white flesh.
Lighting: All Season Longan thrives in full sun and should receive at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for healthy growth, flowering, and fruit production. A sunny, well-ventilated location is ideal.
Watering: Water regularly during establishment, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Once mature, the tree is moderately drought-tolerant but performs best with deep watering during dry periods. Reduce watering slightly during cooler or rainy seasons.
Care: Plant in well-draining, fertile soil with good organic matter. Apply a balanced fertilizer during the growing season and prune lightly to maintain shape and improve airflow. Mulching helps conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Protect young plants from strong winds and frost.
