Ficus Pumila 'Minima' - Mini Creeping Fig

Ficus pumila ‘Minima’ – Mini Creeping Fig

Ficus pumila ‘Minima’, commonly known as Mini Creeping Fig, is a charming compact variety of creeping fig with tiny, delicate leaves and a naturally trailing or climbing habit. It is perfect for terrariums, hanging baskets, moss poles, walls, and miniature indoor gardens. As the plant matures, its stems readily attach to textured surfaces, creating a lush green cover.

Lighting:
Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle morning sunlight, but protect it from harsh afternoon sun, which may scorch the small leaves. Lower light can slow growth and make the plant less dense.

Watering:
Keep the soil lightly and consistently moist, but never waterlogged. Water when the top 1–2 cm of soil feels slightly dry. Reduce watering during cooler or low-light periods.

Care:
Prefers warm, humid conditions and well-draining, organic-rich soil. Regularly trim excessive growth to maintain a compact appearance. Avoid prolonged dryness, as the delicate foliage can quickly wilt and drop.
