Monstera Burle Marx Flame is a rare tropical climbing plant known for its dramatic flame-like split leaves as it matures. Young leaves may look simple at first, but mature foliage develops deep fenestrations.
Light: Bright indirect light is best. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, especially in hot climates like Kochi.
Watering: Water only when the top 2–3 inches of soil feels dry. Keep soil slightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering can quickly cause root rot.
Soil: Use a chunky, airy aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coco peat for good drainage.
Humidity & Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures (20–32°C) and high humidity. Kerala’s natural humidity suits it well.
Care: Provide a moss pole or support for climbing and larger leaves. Feed lightly once a month during active growth.
