Aroid family member Alocasia Jacklyn (Alocasia sulawesi sp.) is a recently found plant. It is a native of Indonesia and is assumed to be a variation of Alocasia portei. This lovely tropical plant is famous for its brightly coloured, finely patterned green leaves. Each leaf is shaped like the skull of a stag thanks to deep lobes.
Collectors now prize the uncommon Alocasia Jacklyn houseplant, but with the correct conditions, it's relatively simple to care for. Animals and people are both poisoned by it.
