It thrives in bright, indirect light—avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade its vibrant pattern. This plant prefers consistently moist soil but not soggy conditions; water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry, using filtered or distilled water if possible, as it can be sensitive to minerals. High humidity is important for healthy growth, so misting, a humidifier, or placing it near a pebble tray helps prevent leaf curling or browning edges. It grows well in well-draining, peat-based soil and appreciates warm temperatures between 18–27°C. With proper care, it remains compact and lush, making it ideal for indoor spaces.
